A group of us from TexasPhotoForum had a meet-up at Sabine Bridge / Skatepark on Dec. 12, 2009. The purpose of the gathering was to discuss practical uses for off camera flash using show mount flashes. Nikon has a very intuitive system called Creative Lighting System that uses infrared to transmit data from the flashes to the camera to expose and meter the subject. Myself and 3 other photographers used a 3 to 4 flashes on the model. I took advantage of 1 SB-800 and 2 SB-900′s. Those SB-900′s are awesome! That’s on my wish list for the coming year. Below are some images I took of Sydni. She has modeling experience and was evident during the photo shoot. Awesome job!
